Hi! I’m Serena. I am the photographer behind SMMalueg Photography. All my life, I have loved pictures more than most, and after much time, decided to launch my own business. For as long as I can remember, I have been the girl in the crowd with the camera in her hand, and now I want to share the special moments that I see and capture with others around me. I fell in love at an early age with flowers and photographing nature. After the birth of my son (now 5), he’s inspired me to take a fresh look at things I have seen all my life. He has taught me to appreciate the small things that could be gone tomorrow and learn something new each day. This has transferred right to my lens after watching my sister and brother-in-law after the birth of my niece… and recently, I have focused on the special moments within the first 48 hours before parents leaving the hospital after the birth of a little one. I have taken more than hospital and newborn but these are some things I have enjoyed capturing more recently. I have found that I love capturing the small “in the moment” shots more than any other.
